Impact
Self Made measures impact in a way that reflects the realities of working with young people experiencing complex risk, disconnection and system involvement.
Our impact approach recognises that meaningful change is not always immediate or linear. Stabilisation, trust, cultural connection, emotional regulation,
re-engagement and pathway planning are all important signs that a young person is moving toward stronger outcomes.
Theory of Change
If young people are provided with culturally grounded engagement, trauma-informed mentoring, creative expression, youth voice, structured pathway planning and cross-system coordination, then they are more likely to build trust, strengthen identity, improve wellbeing, re-engage with education or community, develop future goals and reduce harmful system contact.
